About Auli Yatra
Auli is the most popular winter destination and Ski Capital of Uttarakhand, a perfect combination of snow adventure and Himalayan peace. Located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal Himalayas, Auli is a high-altitude meadow at an average altitude of 9,200 to 10,010 ft, amidst oak forests, bugyal meadows and majestic snow-clad peaks.

- Drive via Devprayag and Rudraprayag — visit 2 Prayag Sangams on the way.
- Scenic drive along the Alaknanda River, pine forests and mountains.
- Evening arrival at Joshimath (6,150 ft) — base town of Auli and Badrinath.
- Visit Narsingh Temple, the winter home of Badrinath.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath.

Eligibility & Fitness
Graded Very Easy. Days are built around drives, sightseeing stops and short walks, so a baseline level of everyday fitness is enough — no prior trekking experience is required.
This itinerary is open to travellers aged 2 and above. Travellers with a cardiac history, chronic knee trouble or reduced mobility should tell us at the time of booking so we can plan the pace and the stops around them.
- Minimum age: 2 years. No maximum age — even 75+ can go, as the cable car removes the need to walk much
- Very easy grade — only an optional 3 km trek to Gorson Bugyal, which can be skipped
- Only 9,200 ft altitude, much lower than Kedarnath at 11,700 ft — no altitude sickness risk
- Pregnant women should avoid Dec–March (snow, slippery); can go April–June till 6 months with doctor's advice. Heart/asthma patients should travel in summer (Apr–June) and avoid extreme winter
- If you can walk 500 metres, you can do Auli — the easiest Himalayan destination
- No long trek required — only an optional 3 km walk to Gorson Bugyal
- Best for kids and senior citizens in April–June (pleasant) and late December (light snow); best for skiing in Jan–Mar; best for couples Dec–March

How to Reach Auli Yatra
The Yatra starts and ends at Rishikesh / Haridwar, with pickup at 6 AM on Day 1. All travel is included in this 2N/3D package — you only need to reach Rishikesh or Haridwar.
Well connected to Delhi and Mumbai. From the airport, take a taxi or bus to Rishikesh/Haridwar, about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Haridwar is well connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow, with overnight trains from Delhi taking 6-7 hours. Rishikesh station is 25 km from Haridwar.
About 275 km and 10 hours by road from Rishikesh, via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Joshimath, along the Alaknanda River.

Joshimath to Auli is 13 km, covered by Asia's 2nd longest cable car (4.15 km, ₹1,000 per person per side) or, if the cable car is closed due to snow/wind, by a 1-hour drive on the same road.
